Movement    11.09.13

We came into class and sharon told us to lay on the floor and think about an animal, any animal; i thouhgt of a flamingo and the way it moved and my interpretations of its personailty. Sharon then told us to mime this animal i stood and demenstrated this through its leg movement and its observation of its surroundings.

we then had to create this animal into a human using the animals ways and produce it into the humans personality or movement. i made my person quite elegant but still observant of its surroundings reffering it back to a flamingo. Sharon ased us to line up either side of the room paring with someone and then walking into the centre of the room and showing how this character would greet somebody.

Sharon then told us to pair with somebody else and create a short scene of greeting with another person and how they would speak and walk. my partner was a penguin so he created his character into being quite jolly.
StoryTelling        11.09.13

First Sharon told the class to lay on the floor getting us into character and focus to start work.
she began by giving us our stimulus, this was to think about how we got to westminister kingsway college today, this could be from far back or waking up this morning. she then told us to mime it.
i started by sitting up miming the exam hall and then going back to sleep then my morning trip to college.

we then got paired up telling our partners our story to then pair up with another pair and tell your partners story, Sharon then told us she would like us to create a short scene demonstrating a mix of all four stories or one persons story to college: we decided to do a mix.

we used our bodies to create objects such as tables, chairs, bedframes and dentist chairs we also created noises to demonstrate this object.
we then performed it to the class.
